The East India Company Boston Tea Party Black Loose Leaf Tea Caddy 100g

by The East India Company
26.659 Ft

A flavorful and medium-bodied tea. This blend of tea is based on the original varieties thrown overboard during the Boston Tea Party in 1773. Preserved for more than two centuries, the Robinson Half Chest is one of only two known East India Company tea chests still in existence from the Boston Tea Party in 1773. The morning following that historic night, a teenager named John Robinson found a tea chest buried in the sand near the shore. He kept the chest, and it was subsequently passed down from generation to generation. The Robinson Half Chest is now housed in the Boston Tea Party Ships and Museum in Boston, Massachusetts.
